Local TV Producer, Faith Phares, Named Miss Arcadia USA

Industry folks know her as the producer of a daily morning show, Arizona Daily Mix, on AZTV7 with Brad Perry. But, there’s much more to celebrate about Faith Phares including recently being named Miss Arcadia USA. Now, she has her sights set on the Miss Arizona USA competition in May 2021.

On what issues Phares is passionate about she said, “I am a big advocate for helping out our military, wounded soldiers, homeless veterans and the families of those deployed as I know what it is like to grow up with a parent gone for long periods of time due to being on active duty. My grandfathers, Dad and brother have all served or are still serving in the military.”

Originally from Illinois, Phares has a history of pageant participation including her first experience in Miss Illinois Teen USA. She moved to Arizona in 2015 to attend the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Sports Broadcasting. Today, Phares is thrilled to produce for the only locally owned TV station in the valley. She loves working with local businesses and events that support the community. Phares is also a big foodie – she loves to visit local restaurants and try new and exciting dishes inspired by the Arizona food culture.

After moving to Arizona and focusing on her studies and career, Phares was inspired to get back into pageant competition and is thrilled to have this opportunity to show other girls and women that it’s never too late to pursue your passions.
